Author William Hazelgrove presents an historical look at Chicago during the darkest days of the Great Depression. He tells the story of the city of Chicago fighting the hold of organized crime to be able to put on the 1933 World’s Fair and of the six millionaire businessmen who beat Al Capone at his own game and ended the gangster era.
